Respect for the Community

All participants are expected to treat fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, aggressive or disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language. The Self Studio is a space free from intimidation where all individuals feel supported.

Respect for the Practice

Please arrive on time — late arrivals may not be admitted once class has begun. Phones should be silenced and stowed during class. Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.

Respect for the Space

Treat the studio and its equipment with care. Please clean and return any props after use. Personal belongings should be stored in designated areas.

Violations

Anyone who violates this Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the studio. Repeat violations may result in membership suspension or termination without refund.

Booking Windows

Class reservations open on Thursdays for Unlimited Members. All other clients may book starting Saturday morning.

Waitlist

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist through the booking system. The first person on the waitlist is automatically moved into the class when a spot opens, and will receive a notification. Waitlisted students who are moved in are responsible for attending or canceling per the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Please cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid a late cancel fee. No-shows and late cancellations may incur a fee or loss of class credit at the studio's discretion.

Class Capacity

Class sizes are limited to ensure a comfortable experience. Capacity may vary by class type, equipment used, and instructor discretion.

Membership Options

Unlimited Membership: $160/month — unlimited regularly scheduled classes. Foundation Membership: $79/month — 4 classes per month (unused classes do not roll over).

Billing & Auto-Renewal

Memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Your membership will auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. New Student Trial ($89/month) auto-renews as Unlimited Membership ($160/month) after 30 days.

Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership by providing written notice before the next billing cycle.

Member Benefits

Members receive early booking access, retail discounts on studio merchandise, and preferred pricing on workshops and events.

What It Includes

Community Access Members receive the same access as Unlimited Membership: unlimited regularly scheduled classes, early weekly booking with members, access to studio community events, and member pricing on workshops and retail.

Eligibility

Available to individuals experiencing financial hardship. Applicants must complete a short application form, provide one form of income verification, and confirm the reduced rate supports their ability to practice consistently.

Program Capacity

Limited to 5–10% of total active memberships (initial cap: 10 memberships). Once capacity is reached, applicants may be placed on a waitlist.
